This final tool is another particular favorite of mine, and it's one with which I'm personally striving to be more consistent. The premise of keeping a diary is straightforward: you jot down some notes about your day, either in the morning or at night, or both, either in the morning or at night. 

This makes it easier to keep track of your daily achievements, failures, moods, and a variety of other things on any given day. If you're feeling stuck and aren't sure why you haven't been making progress toward your objectives, going back over your diary entries may provide some insight into what has been holding you back.
